Museum. Workshop. Ruins.
Young Argentine artist, Mariana Molinari is in the last steps of her degree at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA). This series of ruins integrates a set consisting of three parts: the museum, the workshop, and the ruins. Under the concept of habitat, the work takes into account both the artist and the work of art itself. These three spaces (museum, workshop, ruin) form different habitats where both the artist and the work take possession of a specific place to exist and to be. The work of art, after being devised by the artist, goes outside a field in nature where it takes possession. This fusion between work, artist and natural landscape, becomes a new work. There are collages in mixed media and oil on canvas.
